Privacy policy
Your salon's data stays on your phone.
In short
- Parlourly for Android has no account, no server and no ads. Everything you enter is stored only on your phone.
- We, the makers of Parlourly, never receive the entries, expenses, bookings, bills or customer details you record.
- Backups go only where you choose to save them.
- The app does not collect analytics and does not track you.
1. Who we are
Parlourly is made by Hibacu Labs Private Limited, Kochi, Kerala, India (hibaculabs.com) — "we", "us". If you have a question about this policy or your data, contact us at .
2. What Parlourly for Android stores, and where
When you use the app, it keeps the information you enter in a database inside the app's private storage on your phone. This can include:
- your salon details (name, phone number, address, GSTIN if you add one);
- services and prices, entries (services done and how they were paid), expenses, bookings and bills;
- customer names and phone numbers — only if you choose to type them, for example for a booking or a bill;
- staff names, salary and commission details, and product stock — only if you turn those features on;
- your app settings, and your app PIN, which is stored only as a one-way scrambled code (a hash), never as the PIN itself.
This information is not sent to us or to anyone else by the app. You can see, change or cancel your records in the app, and you can remove all of it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your phone's settings.
3. Backups
Backups you make. Parlourly can save a backup file of your data to a place you pick using Android's own file picker — for example your SD card, a folder on your phone, a pen drive or Google Drive. The app also keeps up to 7 daily copies inside its own private storage on your phone. Backup files are not encrypted: anyone who has the file can open the data in it, so keep backup files somewhere safe. When you save a backup to a service such as Google Drive, that service's own privacy policy applies to the file.
Android's built-in backup. Parlourly allows Android's standard app backup. If backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android may copy the app's data to your Google account and restore it when you set up a new phone. This is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy; we do not receive this data. You can turn it off in your phone's settings (usually Settings → Google → Backup).
4. Sharing bills
When you choose to print a bill, share it as a PDF or send it on WhatsApp, Parlourly hands that bill to the app or printer you pick (for example WhatsApp or a printer service). Nothing is sent unless you do this yourself. Once shared, the receiving app's privacy policy applies.
5. Your customers' information
If you record your customers' names or phone numbers, you are the one keeping that information, on your own phone. Please record only what you need, with your customers' agreement, and delete it when you no longer need it.
6. Permissions
Parlourly does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or messages. The app package includes Android's standard internet permission because of the framework it is built with; Parlourly does not use the internet to send your data anywhere. When you open a WhatsApp link from a bill, WhatsApp itself uses the internet.
7. Buying the app on Google Play
Parlourly for Android is sold through Google Play. Google processes your payment under the Google Play terms and Google's privacy policy. As the seller, we may receive the order details Google shares with developers (such as an order number, the date and the country of purchase). We do not receive your card or bank details.
8. Children
Parlourly is a business tool for salon owners. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms that collect your details. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them (Google may see your IP address, as with any website request). When you tap a WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens with a message ready for you to send — nothing is sent until you press send.
10. Parlourly Cloud
Parlourly Cloud is an online service where your data is stored on our servers so staff can use it on several devices. It is covered by a separate privacy policy, provided when you sign up for it. This page applies to Parlourly for Android and this website only.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how Parlourly handles data, we will update this page and its effective date. Important changes will also be noted in the app's Google Play listing.
12. Contact
Questions or requests about your data: . Because the app stores your data only on your phone, we cannot see, export or delete it for you — you control it fully in the app.
